I'm so happy you get to grow an Ocotillo. Did you buy it in a bundle like this? I am obsessed with Ocotillo. I can't grow it here but I enjoy it across the mountain in the desert cities. An amazing plant!
And butterfly bush is one of my favorites. If only there was a way for me to get you some of my two dozen ready to plant that I grew from cuttings last year as here I am with too many and needing to give some away...
Yay... so glad to see you posting again. Now I need to get off my fanny and post some too. Sigh... Facebook usually is my downfall.
Mike laughs because I've turned into a gardener since we moved to Pgh. Not sure why now, but most weekends you'll find me trolling the garden center. A most satisfying hobby. I've got a huge flowering shrub border I'm working on. Nothing planted there is nearly as exotic as what you have. But, I did put in Buddleia Davidii last year, just a twig, and this year it's already 4 feet tall. Have fun!
